Description: Training Name: It’s Okay to Play VPK!

Training Description: It's Okay to Play VPK! "What Educators Should Know About Teaching" is the first training in a 2-part series and is based on the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards. This training builds on the participants' knowledge of the standards as the participant learns why play is critical to the development of young children and how to intentionally teach and reinforce the standards through developmentally appropriate everyday activities. "Putting Play Into Practice" is the second training in the series that uses the participants' knowledge of the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards to facilitate hands-on learning. This training is appropriate for preschool educators, directors and/or administrators.

In Service Hours: 5

Stipend: $75; Stipend is based on completion of both sessions
